To qualify for Master or Grandmaster recognition and receive the International Black Belt registry's
official Diploma, one must hold a minimum of a 4th Degree Black Belt to apply for Master recognition.
To qualify for a Grandmaster recognition one must hold a minimum of 7th Degree Black Belt and have a minimum of one
student below them at least a 4th Degree Black Belt.
